The best diving destinations
For adventure seekers who also like to explore some of the world’s most naturally, aesthetic sights, scuba diving is an activity that whets their appetite. There are numerous destinations to offer them some adrenalin-based fun in the form of snorkelling and scuba diving. And they don’t need to travel as far as The Great Barrier Reef to do so.
Maldives. The Maldives is a popular tourist destination and the number one reason for that is the huge number of fantastic diving sites. There is a wealth of marine life and it makes for an amazing spectacle. If you’re diving close to the shallow reef, you may just be able to spot sharks too. Both snorkellers and divers are in for an amazing experience and if instruction is needed, the professional facilities and instruction will make the learning experience both seamless and pleasurable.
Sipidan, Malaysia. Any diver worth his salt would who just happens to be in Malaysia, must pay a visit to Sipidan. It features twelve dive sites and expansive shallow reefs making for, overall, a great diving experience. You could see some spectacular marine life, up, close and personal or simply take a plunge at ‘Drop Off’. ‘South Point’ is another great site. You could expect to see hammerhead sharks, eagle rays and a whole host of other marine life.
Mauritius. For divers who wish to enjoy their past-time in a truly tropical setting, Mauritius offers a splendid treat. Other than snorkelling and diving, there are no other activities with as much popularity. As such, they receive much emphasis with diving centres offering tours and courses. Shark diving and wreck diving are just two of the choices open to divers in Mauritius.
Maria La Gorda, Cuba. Not as popular with newbie divers but a true veteran of diving will know only too well that that this really is one of the best diving posts in the world. There is no greater spectacle in terms of marine life. It is really more suited to experienced divers as opposed to beginners as there are only diving avenues. A typical holidaymaker would likely be disappointed but the veteran diver would quite possibly have the time of their life.
Have a great diving holiday with cheap holidays to Lanzarote.
